Japanese Doctor Shizuo Inoue, expert in oxygenating exercise, invented the original Chi Machine to give the body a simple side-to-side fishtail-like movement. In this unique form of passive exercise, Doctor Inoue had come to conclude that cellular absorption of oxygen can be improved. With his long experience in alternate health practices, he viewed aerobic exercise, yoga, Tai Chi, jogging, swimming, breathing methods, etc., as merely ways to supplement deficiency of oxygen. His machine was to aid in that quest, and to bring oxygenation to those unable to be more active.

How Does That Help?
The gentle swinging in a simple side-to-side fishtail-like movement encourages the blood to circulate more efficiently from a caudal to anterior direction throughout the body.
Internal organs, the lymphatic system and spinal column all receive the massage of a steady, rhythmic motion wihout any high impacts. There is strengthening of your Chi and general sense of well-being. Afterwards, you may experience a tingling rush of Chi which slowly diminishes to a deep relaxation-not unlike what runners experience, a "natural" or "runner's high".
